RESPOND WOMEN’S RETREAT

April 22-24, 2022

Encountering Christ (2022)

As we look at Jesus on the pages of the gospels we see how he intentionally relates to different people in different ways. Whether he is teaching, serving, healing, or spending time in intimate fellowship, he is always ministering in specific ways based on the needs of those around him. This is something that we need to realize is still true for us today.

It’s no secret that our world is in chaos, that is to be expected. But in the middle of all of this we can have a solid foundation in our relationship with the Lord. This year at the Respond conference we are going to be talking about how we can practically find our identity and security in the person and work of Jesus Christ as we encounter him in a living relationship by his Spirit through his Word.

The Respond women’s conference is designed for women of all ages who want to be encouraged and challenged by the word of God. Whether you’re looking for a weekend away with your small group, college friends, or even your daughter,  our hope is that you will come away with a renewed purpose of your calling as a godly woman.

Being a woman in today’s world is difficult. You have heard a million different definitions of “womanhood,” but Scripture has already spoken about what being a woman should look like. Biblical womanhood is a high calling. You may not be able to control what the world is going to tell you, but you can control how you Respond.

The Respond women’s conference is designed for women of all ages who want to be encouraged and challenged by the word of God. Whether you’re looking for a weekend away with your small group, college friends, or even your daughter,  our hope is that you will come away with a renewed purpose of your calling as a godly woman. This conference is packed with expositional teaching, fellowship with other believers, and high-adventure recreation! We hope you can join us this spring in the mountains!

Respond includes solid biblical teaching, inspirational worship, outdoor recreation, encouraging fellowship, delicious food and a few surprises.

Attend with family, friends, your church group or an individual.

You’ll have time to grab a quick hike on the Appalachian Trail, watch kayakers explore the Nantahala River, or check out a coffee shop.

What types of housing do you provide for our group?

We have over 14 cabins on our campus, divided by bedrooms for each group. They each provide twin-sized bunk beds, air conditioning, and heat. Our cleaning team takes great pride in keeping things clean but the buildings are simply functional. You’ll need to provide your own bedding, pillow and towels. The bathouse is a short walk across the property.
