Steve & Billie Fay Coleman

CEO & Founders

Steve “Kahuna” Coleman, founder and CEO, has worked in student ministry for nearly 30 years. After studying at the University of Richmond in Virginia, Kahuna began a building contracting business called Coleman’s Reconstruction, based on Christ reconstructing the lives of their clients. In 1985, Kahuna and his wife, Billie Fay, were called to international mission work and traveled throughout Peru and Great Britain until the Lord called them back to Georgia to serve in youth ministry at First Baptist Church in Woodstock. He followed his time there as a corporate chaplain at a plant in Marietta, Georgia, working with 800 low-income families. After six years of chaplain ministry, he and Billie Fay uprooted their lives and relocated to Andrews, North Carolina, to bring their vision of Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters to life. As CEO, Kahuna oversees all camp operations, expansions and maintenance. Throughout the fall, winter and spring, he travels to preach at various churches and youth events. Kahuna and Billie Fay have two children: Steven and Little.

Brody Holloway is the cofounder and executive director of Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in Andrews, N.C. Snowbird’s ministry has trained and ministered to more than 100,000 high school and college students through its programs, conferences, camps and retreats. Brody is passionate about expository teaching and missions mobilization. He has spent more than 20 years preaching the Bible to students and leaders and equipping them to take the Gospel to the nations. Brody serves as SWO’s camp pastor and travels extensively, teaching on relevant topics such as biblical manhood, parenting, marriage and leadership. He is also a church planter and the teaching pastor at Red Oak Church in Andrews. Brody and his wife, Little, have been married for 24 years and have five children.

Matt “Mugs” Jones joined the staff of Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in August 2013 as Director of Operations. A graduate of Liberty University, Matt has nearly three decades of experience in the camp industry, including his work at Lake Owen Camp in Wisconsin. He has served three terms on Snowbird’s board of directors and has a passion for being outdoors and being active. Matt and his wife, Cara, have three children: Oren, Neva and Emma.

Little Holloway

Cofounder

Brody and Little Holloway cofounded Snowbird in 1997. They both attended Liberty University and were married in 1994. Like Brody, Little has a wealth of student ministry experience—nearly 20 years. She is a part of the worship team at SWO, teaches sessions during the summer, and plays a part in camp landscaping and upkeep. The Holloway family also led the initial planting team of Red Oak Church, where most of the Snowbird staff attend. Brody serves as the pastor while Little spends much of her time ministering to girls and women in the local community. They have five children: Kilby, Tucker, Lailee, JuJu, and Mo.

Shawn Clark

Missions & Outreach Director

Shawn Clark, Snowbird Missions and Outreach (SMO) director, was SWO’s first hired full-time staff member. Coming on board in 2000, he served as maintenance and grounds supervisor until the inception of Snowbird’s year-round missions program in 2005. A native of Roxboro, North Carolina, Shawn coordinates and oversees mission groups and projects, ensuring everyone served by SMO is cared for throughout the year. His wife, Bethany, is a graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. Prior to her coming to Snowbird in 2003, Bethany worked as an elementary school teacher and as a children’s camp director at The Master’s Inn in Altavista, Virginia. A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, she writes curriculum for the SMO program and works alongside Shawn maintaining relationships with the community members served through SMO. Married in 2004, Shawn and Bethany have five sons: Ty, Gabe, Luke, Levi and Zeke.

Zach Mabry

Program Director

Zach Mabry, program director, came to Snowbird in 2000 as a summer staff member and joined the full-time staff in 2002. A native of Florence, Kentucky, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Zach serves as worship leader for the SWO band and manages SWO’s summer camp and retreat programming. In addition to his roles at Snowbird, he serves as an adjunct Professor for Liberty University Online. His wife, Rocky, began serving on summer staff in 2001 and served year-round until 2010. He and Rocky have four children: Parker, Samuel, Jackson and Ella.

Spencer Davis

OLD School Director

After serving on summer staff, Spencer and Amy Davis joined the full-time SWO staff in 2003. Spencer is a graduate of Liberty University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Religion. He is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and helped launch the OLD School program in 2002, serving as leader for its first week-long trip the following year. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Spencer serves as one of the teachers for the OLD School semester program, as a session speaker for camps and retreats and helps lead worship. His wife, Amy, has served in numerous roles around camp, including marketing director and worship leader. Amy now leads the development and design for SWO Underground — Snowbird’s interactive prayer chapel — and is a part of SWO’s creative development team for marketing and graphic designs. Married in 2006, Amy and Spencer have three children: Alani, Knox and Jed.

Maintenance Director

Brandon Crocker, Maintenance Director, served on SWO summer staff from 2003 to 2005 while he was a student at Toccoa Falls College. After graduating in 2005, Brandon and his new bride, Jenny, relocated to Andrews in obedience to God’s call on their lives. While working several jobs in the community, Brandon served as a Snowbird retreat and summer staff until he became full-time in 2007. Brandon oversees all maintenance operations and coordinates volunteer work teams. He is over the guys division of Snowbird’s Servant Team, a summer discipleship program for high school students. Brandon is responsible for their hiring, work project assignments and for their spiritual discipleship. He also facilitates the daily responsibilities and tasks for SWO’s year-round volunteers. A native of Wisconsin, Brandon and Jenny have two children: Jaden and Branson.

Rob Conti

Program Director

Rob Conti, program director, came to Snowbird in 2001 to serve on summer staff. He served several summers while finishing his undergraduate degree at Liberty University. After graduating in 2003, he served as a youth pastor for three years in Forest, Virginia. Rob returned to Snowbird in 2006 and met his wife, Sarah, who had been serving at Snowbird since 2004. They married in 2007. In addition to Rob’s responsibilities as the program director, he is one of the main session speakers for year round camps and retreats. Throughout the year, he travels to speak at churches and youth events. He completed his Master of Arts in Religion in 2009. Rob and Sarah have three children: Molly, Marissa, and Walker.

John and Brittany Ragon have served on full-time staff since 2010. A native of Milan, Tennessee, John graduated with a Business/Marketing degree from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He joined SWO’s summer staff in 2009. After working his way through numerous SWO office jobs, John was appointed to Snowbird’s marketing/promotions department in 2011. Brittany is also a Union University graduate with her focus in Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism. She serves as a part of the creative development team for marketing and graphic designs. She also works as a freelance writer, supplying much of the written material for Snowbird print documents and its website. John and Brittany have three children: Berkley, Asher, and Emerson.

Office Manager

Dallas “Gar” Bozeman and Kimberly Bozeman joined the full-time SWO staff in July of 2017. Dallas served 11 years of active military service and 3 years conducting performance optimization in the oil & gas industry prior to joining. A native of Sulligent, Alabama, Dallas serves as the Front Office Manager in charge of church accounts, event coordination, and internal communications. Kimberly is the Head Volleyball Coach at Andrews High School and serves in Snowbird’s Pin Wheel Program. Married in 2005, Dallas and Kimberly have three children: Brooks, Isabella, and Brody.

Adam Bradley joined the Snowbird staff in May 2010 as a summer staff member with Snowbird Missions & Outreach. With a background in contracting and construction, he became full-time in January 2012 as SMO Assistant Director, and in 2013, moved into the position of Director of New Construction at SWO. Adam coordinates all construction projects around Snowbird’s campus and helps coordinate SMO job sites. Adam and his wife, Candace, have six sons: Sawyer, Steven, Silas, Solomon, Samuel, and Spencer.

Harry McSween, OLD School assistant turned Media Director, joined Snowbird in 2005 when he served on servant team. He graduated from the first OLD School semester program in 2006 and began to work at SWO full-time the following semester. A creatively gifted individual, Harry handles all of Snowbird videography and photography year-round. A native of Woodstock, Georgia, Harry also serves as small group leader for year-round camps and retreats, teaches breakout sessions and plays in the SWO band. His wife, Tanya, came to Snowbird in 2004 to serve on summer staff, and the two were married in 2007. A graduate of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, Tanya worked several years as a small group leader for year-round camps and retreats and owns McSween Photography. Harry and Tanya have three children: Keller, Penny, and Tess.

Caroline Ellis, assistant to the director, joined Snowbird’s summer staff in 2006 after coming as a camper for five years. She worked as a part of SWO’s year-round intern program in 2011 before relocating to South Asia to serve with the International Mission Board for two years. In 2014 she returned to Snowbird where she handles administrative work for the Office of the Director, coordinates the summer staff, manages all SWO travel, and helps organize Snowbird Global Outreach. A native of York, South Carolina, Caroline is a graduate of North Greenville University. She and her husband, Brodie, were married in April 2015.

Brodie Ellis joined Snowbird’s full-time staff in August 2012 after serving three years on as a summer staff member and attending eight years as a camper. At SWO, Brodie works in campus maintenance and as a part of the audio/visual team. A native of Sardis Baptist Church, he is currently working to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from The Baptist College of Florida. Brodie has participated in several short-term mission trips to Honduras, West Africa and India. He and his wife, Caroline, were married in April 2015.

Recreation Director

Nikki Smith, a native of Middleburg, Florida, began serving on summer staff in 2007 while working as a teacher and coach in Florida’s Clay County School System. A 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, she came on full-time in August 2010. As recreation director, Nikki oversees recreation training and equipment as well as directs the girls’ servant team program during the summer. She serves as a small group leader for year-round camps and retreats and leads a small group Bible study for local high school girls.

Aaron and Barbara are long-time friends and supporters of Snowbird and we are overjoyed to serve with them now on a daily basis. They came on board in May 2016 and jumped in with both feet. Aaron heads up our transportation department and is a mechanical genius when it comes to anything with a motor. Likewise, Barbara is our new food service director. She brings a wealth of knowledge and culinary expertise to the SWO kitchen and we are thankful for them both.

A native of Andrews, NC, Howard is the founder and president of C.R. Brown Enterprises, an Andrews-based corporation that grows, processes and markets rainbow trout. He holds two bachelor of science degrees, one in chemistry and one in chemical engineering.

After retiring from Nascar racing, Hank started two outdoor television shows
as well as a mini-series, all of which he co-hosted on networks like ESPN Outdoors. He is now the production manager and owner of Dry Creek Productions and founder of Outdoor Connection ministry. Residing in Denver, NC, he is in pursuit of a theology degree.

John and his wife, Spicy, recently moved to North Carolina from Orlando, Fla. have provided a wealth of experience regarding fundraising and long-term ministry planning.

Brody and Little Holloway cofounded Snowbird in 1997.
