Summer Staff

2-Week Training | 10-Week Summer Camp | Make Disciples

Summer staffers are the backbone of relational ministry at SWO. They charge into 12 weeks—focused on making disciples and sharing the Gospel with students.

They invest in small groups of students each week. They pursue relationships with those students throughout each day by eating meals together, going to breakout sessions, hanging out during free time, afternoon recreation, and small group time.

LMNT Team

High School Students | Volunteer Staff | Serve Summer Camp

Servant Team is a volunteer discipleship program for high school students.

They serve in various areas around campus during Summer Camp, such as the kitchen, maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping. LMNT members also participate in worship services, sit under biblical teaching with Snowbird directors, study Scripture, and learn to abide in Christ.

SWO Institute

Theological Training | Relational Discipleship | Local Ministry

The SWO Institute program was created out of the desire to focus on equipping college-age students to become more mature disciples of Christ and advance the spread of the Gospel to the nations. Our goal is to invest in Institute students in three specific areas: theological training, relational discipleship, and local and international ministry.

Learn about the SWO Institute.

Application will be available in early summer.

Words From Previous Staffers

Friendships that last a lifetime.

My experience at Snowbird was great like always. The ministry and mission of SWO have been so deeply ingrained in my DNA and play a giant role in my life. I love everything about Snowbird and this summer did not disappoint nor change that love and affection I have for Snowbird and the people there. I would argue that my love and appreciation for Snowbird has deepened and I have made friendships that will last a lifetime. I could not be more grateful and appreciative for the opportunity to watch souls get saved this past summer and watch young men have the chains of sin break in their lives. The Lord is using Snowbird in mighty ways.

Equipped to proclaim the Gospel.

My time at Snowbird was genuinely challenging, encouraging, and exciting. I came in uncertain if I could make it through the whole summer, but God’s power and love kept me. Now, I leave with a heart that is full and a vision to go proclaim the good news back home.

Live on mission—every day.

So much growth!! Between the discipleship, sitting under expository teachings daily, pouring yourself out for the sake of the Gospel, and cultivating lasting relationships with campers and other staff, how could you not grow and change? I’m so grateful for the privilege it was to work and serve on summer staff for two summers now! I have learned so much about the Lord, myself, and my purpose here on earth, and what it truly means to live life on mission every single day through my time at Snowbird. My experience has been a 10/10.

Make disciples as you grow. Advance the Kingdom of Christ.

My overall experience at Snowbird was very good! I am thankful for the community group leaders and people who invested in me and cared about my walk with the Lord. The Lord has clearly used Snowbird in great ways for the sake of advancing the Kingdom of Christ, and I am thankful that I got to be a part of it. This is no doubt because of the drive that the Lord has placed in the hearts of those who work there for the Gospel to be known and for relational ministry to happen.
