2 Samuel 23 gives us great insight into what biblical manhood practically looks like. David’s mighty men serve as examples that point to godliness, sometimes more strongly than David himself. Godly men live sacrificially for the love and glory of Jesus. They also serve others well so that they might know Jesus more. Ultimately, Godly men embrace sacrifice for the sake of Christ!
