Proverbs 4 tells the story of a father’s advice to his son regarding wisdom. This passage provides insight on guarding the wisdom we receive from the Heavenly Father. Guarding our hearts begins with being attentive to understand the Word and goes far beyond just guarding ourselves against sexual sin. We should listen to the Word humbly and guard the knowledge it conveys inside our hearts. When our hearts are full of truth and life from Scripture, truth and life will flow from us.
