Fall Retreat 2020 | Zach Mabry | Breakout

It is easy for us to take the gospel for granted. The creator of the universe became the weakest thing in the universe so that we could know Him. We’re called to deny self, and take up the cross daily. Today, Zach looks at the lives of the Israelites. Their inheritance was the land, while our inheritance is the eternal Kingdom of God. We are so quick to forget this truth. They didn’t deserve the promised land just like we don’t deserve salvation. God fulfills this promise to them not because they are good, but because He is good. Not because they deserved it, but because He wanted to bless them.

We have been given more than we deserve. We need to take time to remind ourselves of His truths and promises daily. Are you committed to Jesus? Through Him, the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. The veil has been torn and we now have the ability to know Jesus. The people of Israel forgot. Don’t Forget.
