Round Table: Why the Local Church Matters

[buzzsprout episode=’3435931′ player=’true’]

Why does the local church matter so much? What is the value of being grafted into the local church, even as a teenager? The Snowbird teachers discuss why is this so important and share some ways to ensure you’re following the biblical model.

The body of Christ needs each member to be integrated well. You can’t be joined to Jesus, but not His body.

You have been gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve the body in ways that no one else is. When you think about arriving at church on Sunday, think forward to how you can serve and fit into your local body in ways that bring glory to Christ.

The work of the ministry is for the body—every one of us. The local church isn’t a building, but it is an assembly. There is something beautiful about the body of Christ meeting together for worship and encouragement. The early church valued this, and we should too.
