SWO COLLEGE RETREAT

January 10-12, 2025

For many of us, the “college years” are characterized by questioning everything and trying to figure out what we believe about God and the world around us. This can be extremely dangerous unless we land on something that has sufficient answers to satisfy our souls. As Christians, we believe this is only found in the person and work of Jesus Christ for us and our salvation. Scripture tells us that we need to set Christ apart as holy, which will give us a guiding principle on how we think and live.

If you’re committed to following Jesus more deeply, abide in his Word, and be a light in the darkness, then our college retreat is designed for you.

Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the exposition of Scripture and personal relationships in order to equip the Church to impact this generation.

Most Christian conferences for young adults are packed with light shows, fancy bands, and big-name speakers. There’s nothing wrong with that, but we take a different approach.

Scripture commands us to be aware of the attacks we face and equip ourselves to be a light in a dark world. The Snowbird College Retreat is built around this mission: equip yourself to grow deeper in your faith, renew your mind, and engage the culture around you. Spend your life for the sake of the Gospel.

Registration is not yet available for this event.

Stay Faithful to the Gospel in a Compromised Culture

As believers, we know that this world hates us because it hates Jesus. This is most evident on our college campuses. In reality, it is becoming increasingly harder to be a real, faithful, consistent Christian in this generation. In light of this, our desire is to challenge college students with the fact that the Bible is true. The Bible has been under attack in the academic world to the point that many Christians are ashamed or embarrassed by it. We must remember that the Bible is the source of truth and can be trusted to provide us with a firm foundation now and for the future.

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
