SWO Approved: On The Job Apps
Everyone knows that Snowbird is all about having a blast in ministry, but there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that most people miss out on! It takes a full-time staff of about 50 people to keep SWO running year-round. We in the marketing department wanted to share our favorite on-the-job apps that could help you with the organizational side of your ministry.
John Ragon is the marketing director at SWO: “I use Dropbox and Evernote the most during my workday.
Dropbox is a popular file-sharing app that syncs your documents and photos across all your devices, so I can access my important stuff on the go!
Evernote is a great tool for everything from meeting notes, brainstorming, task lists, sermon notes, Bible study, and everything in between. It’s memory space in your brain that you wish you had in the cloud!”
KatyRaye Hartman is the marketing intern with the SWO Institute. “My favorite apps to use on the job are Wunderlist, Slack and Spotify.
Wunderlist is a to-do list app that helps keep me organized and on track. It helps me keep up with my priorities for the week, and see my progress. I have lists for both my office work and my personal life.
Slack is a social app specifically for the workplace. I can join a team, chat about projects, share files and create different channels for all my projects. It helps me keep up with everyone on the team.
Spotify is a music app. Listening to Spotify at work helps me stay focused and gives me inspiration when I need it. It’s nice to jam to my favorite songs while I’m getting work done!”
