Ski Retreats

For years student pastors have been taking their groups on winter ski retreats and it can be overwhelming dealing with all the logistics that go into it. At SWO we have done everything we can to eliminate the hassle. We use every tool that God has given us to provide an environment where students can have fun skiing and snowboarding but also be challenged in their relationship with the Lord. The winter is the perfect time for a reality check in the lives of students, especially in those students who have allowed themselves to slowly drift away from their commitment to Jesus.

Our ski retreats function just like every other retreat at SWO. With the smaller groups we are able to individually invest in the lives of your students. We will plan everything for you so that you can just enjoy the weekend. We will also use every opportunity we have to build relationships with your group, not just in the time that they are on our property for meals, services and recreation but also on the ride over to the slopes, in teaching them to ski/snowboard and then riding the lifts and skiing with them through the night.

We typically ski during twilight hours, which make for smaller lines and a more affordable ski trip. A ski retreat at SWO runs 2-3 days and includes accommodations, worship and teaching sessions, on campus recreation, lift ticket and ski rentals. All you have to do is get here and we’ll take care of the rest.

3night Ski Retreat – $230/person (skiing 1 day)
