Can we bring our own paintball guns?
You may bring your own paintball guns/materials; they will be checked in upon your arrival. You cannot use your paint in our guns, but you can use your paint in your own guns, or purchase more while you’re here.
Do the leaders sleep in the same cabins as the students?
Our staff will plug in with your students the whole time they are here, until lights out. Your chaperones are then solely responsible for your students. So, they will be lodging in the same cabin as your students.
What if my student/child has a special dietary need?
We serve three hot meals a day, with the soup & salad/fruit bar as an alternate option to our meals. If there is any specific need, you can contact the office for further assistance.
Do we need to have experience in any of these activities to come to Snowbird?
Each of our activities are run by trained staff members. They will teach your students how to participate in the activities they choose to do. There is no prior experience needed.

What if I’m not “into” high adventure recreation?

What if I don’t have a group?
Yes! You can come to Snowbird as an individual. Our ten weeks of summer camp are also offered to individual students who don’t have a group to come with. When registering choose “individual” instead of “group”, and replace the group name with the individuals name in the proper fields.
What is the programming like at Snowbird?
At the core of everything we do at Snowbird is the expository preaching of Scripture. The only reason that we offer the quality and variety of the recreation that we do is so that we can bring students to a place where they will hear the Word of God taught. We make no excuses for the fact that the most important time we have with your students is the worship service. And at the core of every service is the Gospel. We are not like many camps that present only a watered down version of the Gospel that will get excited about being Christians or attempt to scare them into an emotional decision. By far the thing that sets Snowbird apart from other camps is the solid, doctrinal teaching and preaching of the Word of God. From hanging out with your students during meals and recreation, to the worship services and Breakout sessions, to the conversations that take place hanging out in the cabins at night our goal is to continually share the Gospel of Jesus as ministers of the reconciliation that He offers us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Is there a registered nurse to administer medications and take care of injuries?
We don’t have a registered nurse on our property, but our staff are all certified in first aid and CPR. All medications must be administered by group chaperones. Our hospital is located 13 miles from the property, in case of any emergencies.
