SMO summer camp is designed to teach your students the importance of serving others through work projects and Bible study while building Biblical community within your group. While here, your students will not only develop skills in practically serving others, but they’ll also spend time really learning how to study scripture and living out their lives like Christ.
We offer 9 weeks of missions camp, running from Monday to Saturday. In one week of SMO summer camp, your group will work on a project for 3 full days. On Friday, your group will go white water rafting and participate in Snowbird recreation. Each morning you will participate in a group Bible Study led by SMO staff and in the evenings attend the worship service at Snowbird.
SMO projects may include anything from painting, repairing a roof, cleaning projects and mowing lawns to small construction projects like building a wheel chair ramp or reinforcing a porch. We request that you bring *one skilled laborer per 10 students to help manage the job site and make sure that the work is done properly.

*Skilled Laborer – A skilled laborer is someone who has knowledge and experience in a specific area of construction (carpenter, painter, etc.). Many times your group project will depend on the knowledge of your skilled laborer, but not always. For more information about a skilled laborer, call our office or send an email.
