This wilderness discipleship program is designed for students who know Christ and have a real desire to grow closer to Him.
The learning environment created by the wilderness is like no other. Getting out of normal learning settings and into the wild allows students to open up and explore areas of life and the Christian walk previously unexplored.
Students participating in OLD School courses are at once challenged and grown by the unfamiliarity of outdoor living. While OLD School courses will teach you valuable outdoors skills, our focus and goal is to use these once in a lifetime experiences to point students to real life in Jesus, to cultivate a sincere desire to seek Him, and foster a maturity and sensitivity to His Spirit.
You’ll silence the constant noise of TV and cell phones and replace it with lasting memories; walking high mountain passes, guiding class IV rapids, sliding through the everglades by sea kayak, or gripping the rock 400 feet above the ground. It is our prayer that on your OLD School course, you would see God as He truly is, and as a result be more conformed to the image of Christ yourself.
Courses are often conducted in conjunction and cooperation with the USFS, LNT, SOLO Southeast, ACA, and Snowbird Outfitters
