Programs & Schedules

SMO projects may include anything from painting, repairing a roof, cleaning projects and mowing lawns to small construction projects like building a wheel chair ramp or reinforcing a porch. We suggest each group brings one skilled laborer, but this is not a requirement. The Snowbird Missions staff is ready and equipped to run the entire work site.

Summer Missions program

SMO summer camp is designed to teach your students the importance of serving others through work projects and Bible study while building Biblical community within your group. While here, your students will not only develop skills in practically serving others, but they’ll also spend time really learning how to study scripture and living out their lives like Christ.

We offer 10 weeks of missions camp, running from Monday to Saturday. In one week of SMO summer camp, your group will work on a project for 3 full days. On Friday, your group will go white water rafting and participate in Snowbird recreation. Each morning you will participate in a group Bible Study led by SMO staff and in the evenings attend the worship service at Snowbird.

2016 SMO Missions Camp Schedule

The cost for one week of Summer Missions camp is per person, and includes a materials fee for the work project. This price includes all 5 nights of lodging, 14 meals, 3 workdays, and 1 full day of recreation (rain or shine). One price covers ALL activities and meals your group will participate in from registration on Monday to departure on Saturday.

Spring Missions Program

SMO offers many different opportunities to bring your students and serve the Andrews community with the Gospel. Your student group can schedule a Spring SMO Missions trip during the months of March and April. Call the SWO office at (828) 321-2210 and we would love to discuss the options.
