Men’s Conference

Sept. 15-17, 2017

It is obvious when you look at the culture around us that we are in need of godly men and we know that it is the responsibility of the men in our churches to be the catalysts in raising up the next generation of godly leaders. In light of this, our focus for the Fall Be Strong conference is going to be on becoming spiritual fathers.

To do this well, we need to be active both in the home and in the specific ministry that God has called us to. This extends to us individually growing in our relationship with the Lord and then passing that on to the younger men in our lives. We will look at specific examples of this in Scripture and then apply that to every stage of life. Whether you are a young man in school, a father, or a grandfather – every one of us needs to realize the responsibility given to us by our heavenly Father to cultivate an unapologetic masculinity in our homes and churches.

March 15-17, 2018

It’s apparent that our culture, and unfortunately our churches, are filled with poor examples of what it means to be godly men. If we are going to combat this, we need to look to the scriptures to find men worthy to emulate.

In this Be Strong Conference, we are going to examine the lives of some of David’s mighty men in order to mine out attributes and practices that we can apply to our lives. In learning from these men, we can grow in our commitment to the Lord and be more prepared to leave a legacy of godly masculinity.
