James & Keri Vaught
Keri seved 6 summers at Snowbird beginning her Jr. Year in college. Keri recently moved back to Snowbird from Texas and is in charge of our fall, winter, and spring booking responsibilities.
Keri wears many hats at Snowbird. Along with her booking responsibilies, she also helps organize and train staff on rec elements during staff training. She leads a small group during the summer and challenges students weekly in their walk with Christ. Her vibrant and positive personality, unpredictable sense of humor, and passion for serving Christ is a huge assest to our SWO family.
You may recognize Keri from her award winning performances in such skits as "The Rewind Skit", "The Broom Skit" and "The Gorilla Skit". She is featured in our Saturday SWO Farewell Services during the summer and is the voice of the SWO Rodeo on Thursdays. Wallace also single-handedly returned style to the Nantahala River each week as she worked rec in thrift store/yard sale threads!
James is from Andrews, NC has been involved with Snowbird since he was a high school student here in town. He now works part-time at Snowbird helping organize our recreation during weekend retreats. He also leads in the Fall Semester OLD School program. He and Keri were married in February and live near camp.
